According to the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS’ October 2015 Report on the Twin Cities Area Housing Market, October ended with 5796 new active listings of homes for sale, a decrease of 8.8 percent month-over-month. As compared to the previous year, new listings are down down -2.6%.
During October, there were 4633 sold listings, a slight month-over-month decrease and the same as compared to this time last year.
Home prices remained steady in October. The average sold price for a single family home was $260,751, down a bit from compared to last month, but still 2.1% higher than a year ago.
